looking at K&N x stream filters

    One of the carb guys on SpeedTalk theorizes that it causes turbulence around the air bleeds and boosters. I'm guessing similar to the way a carb with no filter sometimes works better after a filter is added, the air is straightened out instead of tumbling and approaches the venturi from the sides instead of the top.
