That is a cool project and I know you are getting alot of questions but could you take a pic from behind showing the tires and where they sit in the fenderwells. I love the wheels also and the what you are doing, good luck in your pursuit and keep us updated.
Ok so I hate this picture because once again I have to look at how dumb I was one day when i got off work. Yes I ruined my rear fenders and not sure what I'm going to do yet about them.....I do however want to lower the car 2in in the rear and don't know the best way to do that yet so I have not tried to fix the flairs because I don't know where the tire will fit inside them yet.
Thanks for the pics. That 275 tire fits so easy that is what I was wanting to see. You should check out Thacks or GrabberGTs cars, they raised the wheel lip opening and lowered their cars about where you are wanting to go and it looks very good/natural for the car. Then you wouldn't have to worry about fixing the part below the bodyline.
I am really impressed w/ that surgical operating room like, work area. It probably is one of the most sanitary I have seen. I do like what I see of the work done on the car and like everyone else, I like those wheels too - Spinners and all. I had bn looking like some similiar ones for my car - I beleive the one's I have in mind are made by Rocket.
Thanx, its my dads garage and I have been warned that after I do anything I have to clean up and clean the floor. He wants the maverick out since it has been in there for over 2 years just sitting cuz I was always in school 3 states away for work in oklahoma. I would like to be driving it by the end of summer.
What did you use on that? Spray bombs of an air compressor? Looks really good. Nice, even coverage from what can be seen in the pics. That's pretty sweet.
I used a single stage urethane ....never again lol clear coat base coat is the way to go. It came out nice but it took 3 trys
