Leaf Spring Relocation...

    Sorry but I dont think about taking pics when the guy did the work. But your in luck, because the next clear weekend I'm gutting the inside of the car. I could take pics then. I still have my backseat but I think the outside seatbelts had to go(not sure maybe he relocated them). No one has ever been in the back. You work do look great. I like were you put your box. Mine's sits inside the framerails. Yours looks stronger.

    Yup, the outer seatbelt mount brackets are already gone. Whether to relocate or scrap them is the question... PLEASE post some pix, I'd love to see how yours are done (I'm kinda "winging it" here). Did your builder scallop the rear frame rails?

    Look back at post #11 in this thread. Since the rear frame rails flare out, they had to be narrowed back to the widest point of the main (front) rail...

    i have been looking for pics of this for awhile now! how did the tank install work out and what size tire did u end up running?

    I forgot about this one. Since then, I had to put the project on hold. A house came up for sell that I just had to get. Now i'm in the process of fencing 2 acres off. My gas tank was relocated to the trunk & I have 295/35/18 rear tires on an 18x10 rim. No pics though.

    RASelkirk, I know this is a really old post, but I am doing the crites relocation also, do you have any more pics of the passenger side or pics of both sides of the back half spring mounts when finished, I'd love to see the finished product.... thanks
