yes your right, i did build a "street" car, but i also wanted to build something pretty simple and easy to adjust that would do the job, i for one wanted to be lazy and get the adjustment close enough to work proper and not be under the car half the season dialing it in for an exact take off, where as yes if i was building a true race car i might have went for a 4 link or something of that nature, but i can say the ladder bar set up im running i cant complain about it on the street and bolt the slicks on and dip into the 9's w/o changing a single thing( i.e Pinion angle ect.) since we finished it sold me on ladder bars... im not trying to get nothing started i just think regardless if the back seat stays or not ladder bars seem to be the easiest, maybe not the best but a average guy can use and not need professional assistance to adjust..
Ladder bars for me Thanks for all the info everyone , I plan to get the back half with Ladder bars ! I will be racing at one local track so limited adjustment is O.K. and traction should not be an issue :bananaman Richard
