Still havn't got my confirmation! Its been well over a month(Feb 26 mailed)..but the web site says to wait until April 3 inquire about the status. Rats...starting to worry a bit...keep thinking my registration didn't make it or it got missplaced or something. All I can do is wait I suppose...

Okay, I would like to bring my project car but it will not be running under it's own power by then. I could easily trailer it from San Diego, but I don't relish the idea of trying to push it onto the grounds from across the street.

I saw several cars there last year that were obviously not running. What is the procedure to get your car onto the grounds if it doesn't run yet?

Not sure if thank can be done or not..but I can't see why not. Maybe someone can hide under the hood an make farting and belching sounds(any volunteers)..the crowd might think it sounds like a HP Ford V8(kidding, eh!)..then we could push it in while they stare in awe!
On a different note:yahoo: I got my Confirmation today! What a relief..now I just have to make sure I forget to take it with me like last year! So are we meeting at Bobs Big Boy in Bubank on Sat? What time? Where are we meeting for breakfast on Sunday? What time? Inquiring minds need to know....what are the plans?

There was a delay in getting some of the mailing supplies. That's done and confirmations are going out.

What they tend to do is park the trailers in one of the shopping center lots across the street, but pushing the car is the problem. They may have let a few race cars do that as they are to loud in general to fire up at 0-Dark 30 in the morning.

The car must be register as the cops ticketed a guy last year that had a race car that was not registered when it hit the street even though they were pushing it.

Trailers are not allowed in the parking lot at Knotts.
