Although I couldn't get the video to play, that sounds great.

    Rick it's an H pipe.
3" front to back with two chamber flows and 3 1/2" tips. Believe it or not the tips (about 8" long) changed both the tone and the resonance of the car slightly making it a bit deeper than before and moving the resonant frequency just barely off cruise RPM.

I really like the tone....I need to get mine to sound like that I'm running 2 1/2" with x-pipe, 2 chamber flows and 3" x 8" tips. For lack of a better term mines a little too throaty...it sounds good but attracts the wrong attention. All I have to do is get in it just a little and the decibel level doubles. I've got to tone it down a little...any ideas?

This'll sound funny, but if you're talking about the tinny quality that flowmasters have and how it's a bit harsh it'll work. This only works with baffle type mufflers.
Jet your carburetor way rich and drive the thing for a while. The fuel soot will actually put a fine coating on all the baffles inside your mufflers and take some of the bite out of your exhaust note. This will happen on its own after a while, but you can speed up the burn in process this way. When I first did mine it was incredibly harsh. Mellowed out after about six months.

By the way don't let the video fool you, the car really is pretty loud. if you look carefully you'll see that the camera moved around a bit when I rapped on the throttle. It was sitting on the hood of my blown up Corolla and the Maverick vibrated it around a bit.

That's great..it is the tinny noise,it's running a tad rich as it is...I just don't have enough miles on the system yet...I was checking the other day and I havn't put a thousand mles on the car since I bought it.
