    Ray ... you using a OEM z-bar or repop? The Repops seem pretty heavy duty ... that's what I'm using ... I have seen many rewelded OEM ones ..

    It's just an oem one. I made two more passes on it tonight. Clutch did pretty good. Turned a 7.15 and a 7.20. Getting closer to those 6's. :) I still feel like there's quite a bit of room for improvement too.

    I dont even remember how many oem Z-bars I put out of comission in my mav.I have one of the autokrafters ones in it now.Should live for a while since I dont race the poor thing anymore.

    I recommend it ... The one in my car is from AK. However ,,, about a year ago I figured I'd by another one to have as backup... just in case. It took over 3 months for it to arrive! I think they build to order ..

    I gotta warn you guys though.They dont share the fords positive meshing of the two pieces where you bolt the halves together.just flat not serrated/keyed whatever you want to call it.I also put a longer bolt through mine so it could put a nut on it as well.Now for the fun part...
    I had to have mine bored deeper on the frame side about 3/4 of an inch so it would fit.The depth was too shallow originally.I realise some have not had this problem,just putting it out there for yah(y)
