    I see it has MD tags. Where in MD is it? I live in MD and if its close, I would be glad to check it out in person.

    Yep. The X simply means that the car was built in Canada. The W in mine means it was built in Michigan and K means Kansas City. It seems to me that the majority of Mav's were built in Kansas City. The way to tell a Grabber by the VIN is the 3rd and 4th numbers, if they are 93, it's a Grabber. 91 is just a standard Maverick.

    and mine are 2X93F ..... and i think i have actually seen more made in canada around here than i have from kansas. kinda weird since i am in ky:huh: :16suspect

    I would say about 85% of the ones I've personally seen around here were made in Kansas. Maybe 10% from Canada and 5% from Michigan.

    Most canada cars I have seen were early/small bumpered cars. Most of the ones from Michigan were 1974's.

    All of my Mavericks are from Kansas except my Grabber and '69 1/2. All of my dad's Comet GT's were from Kansas also.
