I learned my lesson on rebuilt/reman carbs. Went through 4 of them on a van when I was younger, they all either flooded themselves, got no gas, or would stall out when you turned corners. With the final one, we had to drive the van around with the engine shroud off so we could hit it with a screwdriver each time it stalled. It would usually start up again after that, but not always. I buy new, always. It is only $100 more and you have a much better chance of it running correctly. If this rebuild does not work, I will be saving up for a new Holley. Do I need a double pumper...they look so cool with the extra piping and all that, with braided line...
i know what your saying about the reman....but that was prob from a auto parts store.. jegs is better at getting it right ....if it was me i would run the double pumper ..it will work now and if your going to build the 302 up it will do there too......i like the berry grants ..on mine i'm running a Mighty Demon 820
