    Is there a possibility that it could be converted to a cable shifted column shift? Would it clear then?

    hmmmmm hadnt thought about that. but with the price of lokar stuff, a B&M stargate shifter might be as cheap.

    I found part numbers for chevy column shift conversions from Lokar, but could not find FORD part numbers. Don't see why one could not be fabbed up just using a standard cable from a floor shifter, as long as the length was close enough though.
