Yep. The Camp David Peace Accords where Egypt and Isreal signed treaties. Been nice if more countries were involved at the time.

And now back to your regular program.....Terry has the same idea I mentioned in the other thread about the new club. The NSRA has done this for years, with the National event moving around and smaller events staged regionally. Even if you had to tag it on to another event like a FFW or something for a while I believe it would work.....

    Terry,

You've got the right idea. It's getting the state rep's and members modivaded enough to make it happen. In Fl. we have only one mini meet. Thats at the Silver Springs All Ford Show in January. No extended effort on the state rep to make this meet happen, just show up and blend in with all the Mustangs.

with our year round cruising it is possible to have several mini meets in florida in a year. like ken said someone has to orginize it and advertise it and members have to show up. if a few could start it then "hopefully" freindship and support within the group will help bring in others. when ken and i met it was at a show i had invited him to (at witch he got his filming done for My Classic Car) and we get together regularly now at shows and we share ideas and advice. it really helps.
( B.T.W.-- ken, you SUCK ) INSIDE JOKE FOLKS
i wouldn't even call silver springs a mini meet. there was no "club" meeting area or even a rep near the cars for most of the day. it was simply a show up and blend in with the crowd kinda feeling. if i hadn't recognized her car i would not have even know that chrissy was there. Cameo always has a large group of cars there and i feel it has to do with the outgoing side of the rep. he was always around to offer ideas, compliments, sugestions, or to just sit and chat. and again it was only Ken, Chrissy and me to represent the MCCI and like i said before i rarely saw anyone but ken.
sorry for the rant and nothing personal against anyone but this has been a topic Ken and I have discussed many times.
