i dont know what you call them. they have a loop on one end that you can put your finger through and pull them out and a small round piece at the other end sort of like a socket wrench. go to http://www.mpgheads.com/catalog.htm and click on export brace. they show a couple of different pins on there.:)

Those turned out good! You can get the quick release pins from Jegs.
Can I get a copy of the templates?

those are nice quick release pins. i think they would not work on mine.i have a single plate where they have a bracket on each side.as far as a copy of the templates i have to make sure i did not thow them away. when i make something, i throw away once i finish.

Did you find them templates? What kind of steel do I need? Will you be available for the time-4 or 5 hours? Will there be a boss to watch out for? (work or home  ). I have tools for working and building with steel, if we should need any.
Can we get the required other parts on the weekend or do we need to get those before?
My car isn't running at this time, so if you think the kit will work without me having to drive it, then I'm ready when your ready. Thanks fan2488, Gene

    Looks Good!

I made a Monte Carlo brace for my Mav. the other day. It looks just like yours except it does'nt connect to the shock towers. I used a tubing bender to shape the bar. The end plates were a pain to shape so they would mount as flush as possible. Turned out pretty good though. Don't have pics yet. It also took me about 5-6 hrs. to fab.

Yea, I'm still wanting to come down. Just thought that you might decide to make it ready for pick up :D . I have been kinda busy making some iron/steel panels for this couple. They have chosen 1" solid pickets for this patio enclosure and it's been a pain, almost done though, it's at the powder coater right now and I'll be installing this next week, so, I would say you and I will be meeting each other in a couple of weeks. So if you have the time to make a set...
I am willing (able) to pay for it, uncoated. You know, if I new where to get those ends I might be tempted to try to fabricate something myself, then come down and compare;) .
