Shoot, I can ignore just about anybody without going to all that trouble. If I don't want to read what you post, I just scroll down to the next post.

The posts I really want to ignore are those where no or bad grammar is used, correct spelling is not even attempted, and there is no punctuation. That makes reading a PIA. But, if I added all those to my ignore list, then I would pretty much be ignoring 90% of everybody younger than 25. But, I want to encourage the younger set in this hobby so I just keep Tuck's pads handy.

I know, I was thinking he's gonna have everyone on the board on his ignore list. :biglaugh:

I was gonna ask what Tucks pads are, but a quick Google search turned up this on some site:

"4 of 7 people found the following review helpful:
Tuck this where the sun don't shine......, October 11, 2005
Reviewer: Mr Potato Head (Sierra Foothills CA) - See all my reviews
I can barely contain my enthusiasm for this miracle from the Gods. Does rectal itching keep you up at night? Do you constantly find your finger lodged in your crack trying to assuage the burning, itching, red hot poker in the cornhole sensations? Well then, snuggle up to a few Tucks and feel the pain melt away. A word of caution though, read the directions. After a few weeks of stuffing these things up my keister, I found that my farts were smelling like Witch Hazel...a beguiling scent to be sure, yet not at all fartlike. After that, I mistakenly wore several pads in my shorts and the alcohol and glycerin combined to create a flammable mixture which almost ruined a new pair of pants when I got too close to an open flame, I nearly rectum. All you have to do is spread your cheeks (use a small hand mirror if you have to), then with a Tucks in one hand and a chicken in the other, gently wipe your hemorrhoidal caldera and throw the pad away. What you do with the chicken is your own affair. You pervert. I should also note that these pads have done wonders for my acne, although I don't recommend using the same pad for both purposes, unless of course you don't mind your face smelling like ass all day.

Was this review helpful to you? Yes No

I almost spewed coke all over my screen. :biglaugh: :rofl2:

Only problem is you can't see what those people on your list are posting about you for everyone else to read. I'd rather just kick their @$$ than put 'em on my "ignore" list...

I've been a subscriber to this board for about 5 years now so I hesitate to say anything that might alienate others on the board, but I don't feel I can stand by while a handful of people are poisoning the atmosphere around here.
If I'm out of line feel free to ignore this, but it seems to me that this thread is just an attempt to keep alive and to fan a disagreement between members that has degenerated into a name-calling, insult-throwing squabble.
In the past members haven't been allowed to use this forum to this end. I don't see the purpose in letting it be reduced to this now.

The problem is this site has gotten so large that there are many differences in opinions. These leads to those "disagreements" I think as a whole this is and always will be the best community of car lovers on the internet, Regardless of a few bumpy spots on the MaverickHighway. If we all learn something even if there was some less than tasteful moments then I'm all right with that as a member here. We are all humans with emotions life happens. I just hope everybody enjoys this place and mavericks as much as I do:Handshake

I've always believed it's better to be hated for who you are then praised for someone you're not or pretend to be. So I certainly don't have a problem speaking my opinion on things. If anyone dosen't like me for something I say, well, thats their right. Censorship won't get anyone anywhere.

    Jamie,
It's not about being hated or praised. It's not about your right to say this or that. It's not about being liked or disliked.
It's about discretion. If you have it, you don't need censorship.
It's not wrong to void you bladder either. But there's a time and a place for it. This forum isn't the place to air your personal beefs with other members or to sling insults at one another. Those are private matters. Do them in private mail. The rest of us don't want this message board spoiled that way.
If I'm in the minority on this I'll gladly eat crow and apologize, but I suspect that most members share this opinion. I'd love to hear from the rest of you on this. Personally I cringe everytime I see the insults start to fly. 'Nuff said by me. John B

John in this case the commotion was over a bad e-bayer with some parts for our cars. He came on here and started slinging away. (Hint: look for the person in this post that joined yesterday)
This is a case of a number of people looking out for the others to prevent them from getting ripped off. You would have to read the other threads to have a clear picture of what happened.

You're right. We should just stand back and let these idiots take advantage of people.
