Heater problem

    And finally, the adventure is over. I took the new thermostat out and put in a newer new thermostat, and all problems are resolved. The heater is working just fine and Bessie is no longer overheating. Thanks for all of the help everyone. I am still going to pull the heater box and replace the heater core at a later time, but this will work for now.

    That's great! See, I knew it was something simple! I'd pick up that heater core I posted the link to. It was a great price and they don't go bad just sitting around! :thumbs2:

    So what was the problem? Was it defective? Was it pilot error "in bakwards"?
    Just curious? Anyway, glad u got it sorted out w/o to much hassle. Nice to have heat - uh?
