    Vacuum lines...

All you need is one from the lower part of the carb to the advance on the distributor(be sure it comes from the port that is not always at vacuum, but only draws a vacuum at higher rpms). A 3/8" fuel line with a PCV valve that goes into the valve cover (preferably pass side at the back) to the front of the carb.

There might be another line from the back of the carb or manifold, split to go to the transmission and into the firewall to activate your heater flaps and doors.

That is all I have on mine. Threw all the other lines and egr stuff away.

    That gives me another question.

The line that runs from the PCV valve to the carburetor fits loosely, and when I pull it out the car stalls. Therefore I want a better fitting hose for that. Any idea what I should be looking for?

For now I stetched it a bit and slapped some sealer on the inlet, but I'm still pretty sure I'm getting some hissing from there.

If the 3/8 is too loose, go down to 5/16, or if that is too tight, put a small hose-clamp on the 3/8. There might even be a "stock replacement" that fits correctly...

By "loose" I really meant "tight." The hose is too small, I highly, HIGHLY doubt it's the original hose. It was stretched out and barely fit over the inlet -- I just "bored out" the inside of the hose a bit to help it fit a little better. I didn't even bother measuring it, because I'm a dummy.

Now for another dummy question: measure from outside to outside, or inside to inside on a hose?

Measure the inside of the hose. Or better, look at the white letters on the outside of the hose, cannot go wrong there.

Now, is the hose loose at the carb, or at the PCV valve. IF the valve, just buy another one that has the right sized fitting. Then get a new valve cover grommet that fits the PCV valve. You are looking at much less than $10 for the price of all of this combined, AutoZone, O'Reilly, etc.
