I've only had someone go into my comet once when I left the passenger door unlocked, but luckily at the time I had the stereo ripped out, so all they got was my work visor. Talk about petty thieves. That paintjob definately looks really nice though.

Tim, thanks for sharing, you've heard enough about the losers,so.... To the photos. The crew cab is very interesting, thought about doing once but passed it up. a friend with a car lot got one in and called me right away and we mulled it over but too many toys, no money or time. Where did your friend get the 49/t-bird? It looks just like a car that Ernie Simco built out of Brandenburg, Ky. Did he buy it or build it? Ernie was inducted into some Hot Rod hall of fame by his peers about the time he built 2 of those cars, they were in mags. I'm friends with his son is the only reason I ask and the fact that he sold them long ago and sometimes you just wonder "what ever happened to.....?"

I see kits for those 49' Fords/T-Birds at swap meets. Pretty neat.

Hey Ward Yeah the truck was really done up nice. The 51 Bird belongs to my wifes parents. He built it like craig said using one of these kits and a 95 T-bird.
