    Can't save em all (even u know that :D) not to mention, i dont need it and the market for 4dr's is almost non-existant. wait till you see the other 4dr out of this deal...:biglaugh:

    yeah, i didnt think twice about it myself but i can understand where people come from when they ask 'why would you part it out?'.

    exactly!! Maybe you can find a Maverick or two at each corner, but they are kind of rare here.... Back in the day they were "disposable" car here and they tend to rust pretty quickly too!!! :)

    Junk yard here crush car from the 80's... you may remember in earlier post that i'm having a really hard time to find part for my Grand Am 1986... guess how hard it is to find part for Maverick! ;)

    They crush them here to. Usually about once a month. Then bring more in. I'm sure sooner or later the old cars will have to start dropping off in numbers, but I've been junkyarding on a regular basis for 3 years now and so far they show no signs of stopping. Two pics below are both from junk yards I go to regularly here in GA. Both were taken in the past three months. I've seen some cars that just made me sick knowing they are going to be crushed.

    why did you strap across the back glass..

    do you know how rare back glass is for our cars?

    good to hear about a nice parts car.

    i just threw it across the back to hold it down. it just happen to go across the glass. as for back glasses, do you realize how many i have thrown away because there's no market for them :huh: i dont think they're as rare as one might think...:)
