gas milage or lack of

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    If I checked I would probably not wanna drive it anymore. :( Especially when I add some of the racing gas. Wow!!! $8 bucks a gallon!!! Good thing I don't take it to the track a lot. :huh:

    Ouch!

    A dozen years ago, a buddy of mine used to run a mix of pump gas with aviation fuel in his AMX. I wonder if that is still an option and what that costs per gallon now.

    1971 Ford Maverick Grabber
    20 mpg hwy.

    Used to get 16 before I changed the rods, and that's all I did, leaned it out a little. Didn't sacrifice too much power.

    Stock carb/intake was 12 mpg.

    Edelbrock 600
    Weiand dual-plane
    Duraspark w/ MSD 6AL
    Stock innards 302
