Maverick Man. Its a two prong flasher just like the 1 for the four ways. . Mines a 72 Mav. Couldn't figure out why I had no signals till I got into a Ford shop manual. I have the 5 book set for a 77 mav and just presumed it was the same for a 72. Book # 3 -- section32-40 andsection 34-01-7 figure#6. Instument panel wiring harness. this pic shows the location of both flashers. Section 32-40 dicribes how to change the signal flasher but unless you have hands the size of a 10 yr old forget it. your supposed to turn the flasher 90 degrees to get it out of the slot I was talking about. the Old signal flasher is -- round with 2 prongs. At the opposite end to the prongs its a flat surface but in the middle of that surface is a 1/4 in square pin that clips into the steel bracket behind the speedo cluster. Hope this clears up any confusion. Ron
