My car is pretty quiet, while going down the road, I hear very little road noise, as for the heat, I find it blocks it very well. I have had plans on finishing the A/C on my car for a few years now (but it's like the cobblers shoes..)I also installed Dynaliner on just the foot well sections, and the trunk divider. I was thinking of Lizard Skin for my next project, but I'll stick with Dynamat. For what it cost, I'm more than happy with the results.
