    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    if you want to build a clone you can start with any year (69-77)mav/comet as all the parts interchange including the bumpers

    They wouldn't be factory but the rear disc brakes is nice, are the front disc also?

    Wow, I wish I could scoop one up in that condition!! I've been looking for one to build for a little while now!

    Looks like a good solid car to start with

    I passed on a true Grabber v8 that looked just like that, not to long ago, for 400 bux.
    The floorpans and hood were badly rusted though. I probably could have gotten the 400 back in parts, but that's with alot of work to just break even, so I walked.

    Score= Crusher: 1, Grabber 0!

    That's my .02 on price...

    The guy is selling it for what he bought it for ($800). Does that seem like a good deal?

    He bought it for 800, pulled parts, including the engine, now wants 800?
    Not that it matters much, it is what it is, but that sounds optimistic to me.

    If the brake mods were done right, the body is truely cancer free (which the pics don't bear out IMO), and you feel like that is what it is worth to you, then 800 could be a 'fair' price. Fair as in 'okay' or 'average', not as in 'good' or 'low priced'.

    My opinion is that I wouldn't buy it for that, but your opinion, as well as others, may vary wildly.
