    Well - If all aftermarket fans suck the market wud,nt be constanly expanding. They are like most other things "get what u pay for".

    They're a lot of factory parts better than the aftermarket parts. Some people just gotta have aftermarket "go fast parts" thinking it is better only to be taking a step backwards.

    We'll after reading this thread I got a little concerned and went out and closely inspected my 42 year old blades and found everything looks good. I'm thinking this would fall into into the "preventative maintenance" category and might consider upgrading to a new Flex-a-Lite blade just for piece of mind...

    Years ago, there were ads in Hot Rod, and other magazines, warning about flex fans, and some were even recalled.

    flex...is what they do. metal can only flex so many times before cracking/breaking...:yup:

    It might be noisy and might not cool as well as your stock fan. You won't know for sure until you try it.
