    I used my EDL last week to get into and out of the US...had absolutly no trouble whatsoever! Who ever is asking for a passport in addition to the EDL obviously has no idea what an EDL is for! It is designed to be used in place of a passport..but for land borders only! For air travell you still need a full passport! I wouldn't worry about it whatsoever!
