Because no matter what you think, somebody will find a reason to complain about it. Believe me, we've been thru this already. Might as well drop it.

Sounds like a deal you can't refuse or resist..... I'm just an innocent bystander. Waiting for all the negativity to go away. Starting to sound like a thread we had on here years ago. That's when the MCG was formed. Why can't everyone just get along?

I really hate to bring this up again. And Coop this is not against you at all, but I feel compelled to set this straight one more time.
There was not "issues" with me (I was the one that started the MCG) and anyone from the MCCI. All of the things that went on back then was created by some people on this board that was never apart of anything the MCCI did......they had no clue what it was about and made no attempt to try and understand. I do think now that some of those people understand better that choice is a good thing.
If you do a search (which I might do in a minute) you will read were Dennis Martin and Dan Starnes (I also believe Shawn Simpson may have) posted that there was no issue with the Maverick Comet Group and why it was formed. In fact it was formed based on their urging to do so.
There is different strokes for different folks and having an option to find a place where "you" fit in has proven, over the last few years to be very beneficial to people who are active in both/either the MCG and the MCCI.
If you have read a few post as of late. Dan Starnes is a member of the MCG and he attended the GATHERING while hosting the MCCI round-up the following week; which was attended by several members of the MCG to include, but not limited to, the president (Don Graham) and vice president (Jack Grice) so PLEASE lets put to rest the make-believe issues between the MCG and the MCCI....cause there is none!!!!!!!!!!!
The only issue I have with jimmy2gates and what he is doing is the fact that he is using the Maverick Comet Group name (with a very small twist). If he would fix this small wrong doing, I wish him all the success in the world!

I have stayed out of this controversy until now hoping that a good middle ground could be met and all parties would be happy. I sure hope this is acceptable to everyone.
