Thanks. I ordered this one earlier: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180314508768

The lack of details, generic picture and low numbers for this seller make me pretty nervous, but we'll see how it goes... I saw in the feedback where someone else bought a Maverick brake booster from this guy and he was happy with it.

If this falls through, and it might, then I'll get the Centric one. I am holding back my hope that this guy really does have ten or more in stock when Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly and Rockauto can't get one, so either way I'm still looking for a used one. I can't have the car down for weeks while I wait on some backorder or get the wrong part shipped and have to send it back, etc. If I get lucky oh well, I'll have a spare.

I was looking at his feedback, and it seems that most of his -'s were slow shipping.Hopefully he gets it to you in a decent time.Good luck, and Hope it works out for you.:)

    Thanks.

The part brand is listed as "AST." Anybody ever heard of 'em?

Called the seller. It took him a while to find it, it was "buried at the bottom of a pallet in the back," but they did have one (not ten) in stock and he said he's get it out this afternoon... I may be catching a break after all, we'll see!

Ok, I got the booster. It looks good, and it looks like it's the correct part, except the rod that attaches to the pedal seems to be way too short. :banghead:

I would love it if somebody told me this thing's adjustable... Or that it's compressed for easy packaging... Something... Otherwise I'm looking at my car being down for a third week while I wait for this part again.

This is getting retarded. The car has never been parked this long.
