Hi Everett, good to hear from you again. I used my old Dynomax Super Turbos, with an H-pipe, and I don't have a drone at any rpm. I do have shorties, Hedman 88-400, and the fit is very good. I looked again, and the pitman arm is not hitting the pipes. Might be because the tubes are 1 1/2", the long tubes weref 1 5/8". Oh, the electric fan, Taurus fan, bit the dust. Gonna get a new one next week. Take care,
    Earl

I think we have the same header config. I have the 88-408 I believe the coating is the difference. I am using smaller collector 2" versus the 2.5" that came w/ in the box w/ the headers. I have changed my steering box to Borgeson, but, don't think that should make the difference. My car was power steering from factory and I am using the PS arm -- What arm are you using?
As long as it don't hamper normal driving the only thing I may do is take a BFH and crease the tube. I really don't want to dent it. I am going to have H-pipe installed and see if it helps/solves drone issue. Thanks for the reply, Earl -- Hope all is well.

Hi Everett, all is good here. I am using the original suspension, manual steering, so I don't have to do anything to install the headers. The 88-408 is the number for the coated headers. Wish I had bought them. I painted mine, and it burned off within a few minutes. I might get them coated if I can find a place around this burg that can do it. Take care,
    Earl
