I guess that's why we find out how to do the jobs ourselves right?

for a brake pull up front

air in lines, restricted brake hoses, sticking calipers cause pulling issues.

    replace in pairs.

if your only making $8 an hour you need to move on because your wrench skills are way beyond jiffy lube. I think that is more the level of skill clint was referring to .

Yes it was but sorry if I offended you. Something as important as brakes I will do myself. If something bad happens I have nobody to blame but myself.

Yep unfortunately some real butchers out there. Dont get me wrong we get some scary stuff from other shops as well. Its hard to find a good shop you can trust to the job right. Its a problem at dealerships because you never know who is working on the vehicle. Someone making 8 bucks an hour shouldnt be putting brakes on your car. We are lucky at our place that the techs opinion is that if someone pays 94 bucks an hour to the shop they deserve to have a trained tech do it right.
I like the motto- if you want something done right do it yourself if you know how.

Your right because you know what you are doing. If someone uses that theory who doesnt have the skills though its dangerous. The something bad that happens could be someone elses kid that ran into the road.

Anyhow I think this thread has been hijacked enough. Sorry.

The brake pull happened with the drums as well so I agree look into that front end and bushings as well as the calipers.

I would like to point out that if it's the same pull as with the drums, you could expect it to be more pronounced with the increased stopping power of the disc brakes. You have a worn front suspension, and now that the brakes are upgraded, you feel it much stronger now. That would be my guess.

Another thing that can cause this, along with the dozen or so possible items posted, is a weak brake line. Your brake pressure to one wheel can be diminished if a weak line balloons out under braking. Always replace brake lines when doing the swap! Hope you didn't reuse the lines that came with the calipers.

A separating tire, or a tire with a bad belt can do this too.

    Good luck.
