Desert Mavericks.......Sand Box

Not into it

 

Its not bad if its not too often. Come on over sometime. I drive 45 minutes from 43ave and Catus to Fort Mcdowell a couple times a week. lol

 

I'll look for some close to free e7 on craigslist. Sucks because I sold a set early this year. They were recently rebuilt too. I got an intake from Tony. Still need a carb and I'll start looking into a cam.

T-bird is long gone. Engine is in garage, going to put it on engine stand so I can swap to front sump oil pan, oil pump and water pump. Sunday I brought my Maverick from the old house along with most of the parts.

It'll be tough to have my Maverick running by Nov/Dec but I'll do my best. Regardless I'll still go to the meet as long as I have the day off work.

I don't know how to play poker so I might sit that one out.

 

Im up for a mini meet in December. Hope we get more than 3 this time

 

Within the next few days I'll put together some dates and hopefully everyone can make it. Unless there are any other suggestions I'd say let's do Park Central parking lot again...seems like a nice centrally located place with lots of empty parking.

 

Thats the only meet i didnt make it to. I think its cursed. ill bring an umbrella.

 

I realize that some guys may work Saturdays so it all depends on that I guess. So we could do either Saturday or Sunday December 5th/6th or Saturday or Sunday December 12th/13th. Say around 11:00am. Whatever day gets us the most in attendance I am all for! Let us all know!

 

I just checked craigslist again as there were a few good pairs of e7 on there that were already rebuilt that I was eyeballing. There were also a couple of really good buys on Edelbrock heads. Of course theyre all gone now.

 

Sunday would work be best for me. I might be able to go Saturday but I won't know for sure til the Thursday before.

Sunday seems like the concensus so let's shoot for Sunday Dec 6th at Park Central at 11:00am...we can use the following Sunday as a rain date( Ryan this is for you ) Can everyone make this date?

Sunday is good for me. I washed the car this weekend so Im all set. Even drove it a bit so the battery should be charged too. I noticed it does need wiper blades. So if it rains Ill have to pass. Not going to be like the first meet when we caravan to Barros Pizza in a downpour.

 

Sounds good...I will make this "official" shortly. If it does rain we will just meet the following Sunday.
