I'm glad you guys resurrected this thread. I would still love to see some pics of the back seat, frame rails, etc. Anything to show the mods needed would be awesome :)

I've seen it in person, very nice work... The springs are moved from outside the frame rails to inside, and the rails themselves are "notched" quite a bit then boxed in and reinforced. Of course all this left no room for a stock fuel tank so there's a cell the trunk. The fuel cap area on the tail panel is covered by a rather cool looking round piece of billet. He's had it all torn up for a while though, to install a 5-speed! :thumbs2: (And that should be about done by now...)

Hey Terrance, when are you gonna drive that thing?

HA Ha, Drew you don't know me well yet. I can't leave stuff alone. I knock out half of my autometer gauges messing with that elec. fan, but now I have all the right parts, I will try to wire the fan. then see what happen to the gauges. I just got the right length water pump pully screws today. After that, I need to run new brake lines & bleed the new master cylinder. Check every thing and go for a test drive. Maybe I should replace the old gas too. If everything goes well, I will take everything back out again alone with the engine. I have a cowl leake & I need to replace a piece of the floor. While the engine is out might as well paint the engine bay.

I too wish I would have took pics. I didn't realize it was some real work. He started on the car as soon as I dropped it off. Came back after work & the back of the car was in pieces. Pictures was the last thing on my mind.

As you can tell. My progress is slow but steady. Sometime I wonder how much sleep some of the members get at night. Because working, working on the house, being a husband, watching your sports, eating with the family, & other things we all do, I know I don't get 7 or 8 hours of sleep every night. I find myself dreaming ideas & getting up while everyone is sleep to make good progress on my car. But its still a blast.
