Speakin of Fairmonts, there's a guy here that's got a real sleeper in one. Solid Black, 4 door Fairmont with a SOHC 4.6 under the hood with a Centrifugal supercharger feedin air to it. You'd never guess it's lurking under the hood unless you look or he nails the go pedal.

    Yeah...I figured you would. :thumbs2:

The "original" plan I have is a new 5.0 Coyote engine with a Jerico transmission. Just so damn expensive. Engine is $7000, controls package is another $1800, alternator kit is another $200-ish, and the engine cover is $200. That's an easy $10K before it even fires up and rumbles. A Clevor would come in well under $4000 even if I splurge on a few things.

    Decisions, decisions, decisions........

TFS claims they are about to release 5.0 style intakes for Clevors in about a month...
This is one of the Cleveland versions, but they claim the Clevors are coming too.

I spoke with Cory Roth of TFS at SEMA this year and he mentioned these. Clevor stuff is done. They're just going through the pricing/availablity/distribution meetings before they release them.

    .

sorry my pics arent that good and i forgot to point out the mods made to them. but on block side of head if ya look close you will see two freeze plugs . drilled out the water hole and put the plugs in . on the intake side of head you will notice that i drilled a hole into head to allow coolant to flow to the intake. and i also milled the rocker pedestals to accept screw in studs and guide plates. thats all that is needed for the heads.
some say to drill three water or steam holes in block and some say you dont have to. i have always drilled them. hope this helped a bit . if ya cant find the mods i made from pics ill take some more and point them out better . again hope this helped a bit.
