Those wheels are just plain ugly.

I wanna see a Maverick with the 17-inch billet Magnum-500s...

OK, I go for the underdog, so here it is...

Some guy posted that he wanted 18" rims all around on a lowered maverick recently, and I gave him a rash and a SuperHIT about it. I challenged him to do it and "make it look good" and post pictures to prove it.

Well, this doesn't look "all that bad" considering the angle of the front wheels and all. I bet if he took a good profile picture, it would look "different" but possibly...just possiby, acceptable. Maybe even "cool."

I am very open minded in what I SEE, but very conservative in what I DO. I LOVE to see someone do something different that looks good, even if "good" is debatable, but to each his own, and the more better for it, since it keeps us from all looking like a bunch of '69 Camaro RS clones.

I give him credit for trying, even if I wouldn't do it myself. And for $3500 I could buy it and put on "regular" wheels and have a decent looking car!

More importantly, why is it that my Firefox browser shuts down each time I look at that webpage? Just locks the computer up, and I have to restart everything to get back.

Maybe...just maybe, it is an ugly ass car with cool wheels...

From a philosophical standpoint, is it the car or the wheels that are cool looking? Maybe we are all delusional thinking the car is nice, when in fact...

edit--this is just a philosophical suggestion...please don't ban me from the forum. I majored in Psychology, but minored in Philosophy and Anthropology...

actually the car probably woundn't look all that bad if someone just changed the wheels..... too bad there aren't more photos of the car. you probably would cut off about 1800 bucks just for the wheels which really are only worth 75 bucks each since those wheel for sure are made in china.... MSRP is such a mark up on those wheels!
