go up two jet sizes in the primary,it isnt too big, worst case try a stiffer spring in the secondary

Kept the 750, it time to come out and play.

    1. First let check some easy stuff, check the holley mount bolts.

    2. Check the intake bolts.

    3. Dose the choke work? is it wired open? or is it hanging free?

4.with the engine off, pull the site plugs front and rear fuel bowls. Dose the fuel just leak out when to rock the car. or dose it run out when you pull the site plugs this is inportant. You want it to just spill out when you rock the car.

    5. With the car off have someone floor the load peddle. check to see if the thottle is open all the way. With the load peddle floored try and move the carb linkage, if you adjust it. Then with load peddle floored try and open the vaccum secondary by hand. Do they fell smooth and open all the way?

    6. Pull the plugs ,how do they look? white ,tan, or black.

    7. Now let crank it let it wram up. Put a vaccum gage on it, look for 15-20 lbs.

    8. adjust your air mixture srews with the vaccum hook up then adjust each screw to the highest reading.

    9. Set the timming around 12.

10, How is your fuel system? Good pump ?

Kept us posted. The MAVMAN has sound advise.

Some good info here though! I would have gone the other way with a .28 squirter to make the shot longer?
