Hi guys, any suggestions would be great. I have read a few suggestions on by-passing or creating a new fuse holder, but nothing on how easy/hard/how it is to do? I have 3 fuses that I have cleaned contacts for and still nothing is running on those circuits. They are (as far as I can tell) Term #1 cigar lighter, e-flashers;Term#6, reverse lights, windshield washer (not wiper), and Term #2 (which I don't care too much about) has a broken holder clip. That's dome, courtesy and luggage? compartment -is this glove box?
Can I just pull wires out the back and create new contacts externally? Thanks for any input!

PS It's a 71 comet, 6 cylinder 200CID that sat in a friends field for about five+ years.I tried using a light bulb to check the wires past the fuse panel (ie:inside the car, under the dash) & it won't light up -can't find my proper test light right now.

these look to be...12V all time circuits...
wiggle the plug on the firewall side of the fuse box...it may be corroded or loose connection.

I wud do as Frank suggest and wiggle the plug.
Did u remove the plug on the inside of the car and ck the wires behind the plug or u just cleaned the fuse contacts as best u cud? There maybe buildup/corrosion on the contacts behind/between the plugs.
U can always install an aux fuse panel frm the battery as a last resort. I added a 6 panel aux box to my car to power any thing that did not come on the car originally.

To answer your question, yes you can remove the leads from the back and install inline fuse holders. I would first take Frank's suggestion of checking the firewall plug. This is a problem area on some of our cars. You may just find a little contact cleaning is all that's needed to restore power in those circuits! :)
