Bogus time in the Timeslip Database

    Its not a matter of "Taking a joke" cause I have a hell of a sense of humor and it bothered me. Its just the fact that the "timeslip database" is something that Stefan added, mainly for us racers and there is rules, and......

    cometgt1974 I have ladderbar setup a 9in with 4.78 gear. I was going to bring it down next weekend for the braket race but I'll be haggeling with transmissions for a couple weeks or months now. Will be down to watch the 10.5s though talk to ya then.

    Theres another example of the difference between e.t. and mph......a 6.90 @110

    I run 6.50 @105.

    I'm sorry to say that I am in the right lane. 6X is the number I carry. That slip was back in Feb of this year. I can't remember who was in the left lane. There is an big fingerprint over his time but it looks like his R/T was .490 and a 1.681 60'. Seems like the track was running a .400 Protree that day. I don't make it to the track enough to cut the really good lights.:(

    I was just making referrence to how the mph and e.t. doesn't "always" make sense :confused:

    Please never be ashamed of a timeslip.......to me its just as much fun racing and watching a 10 second car as it is a 6 second car.
    Its all BIG fun to me!

    and my referrence to the left lane was because of the lane "sponsor"! :D

    I think the difference between e.t. and mph is tire spin and where you car pulls the hardest. If you spin some I think your MPH will be higher and if your car pulls stronger in the highest gear you might have a higher MPH.

    Yep Bossmav, I agree.(y) Always trying to pass along "little" tid-bits of info for the guys/gals new to the drag racing seen.
    There is so many variables that make up a pass on the strip. The mph and e.t.(when people learn how to "read" them) can really give you a lot of info on what your car is doing as it flies down the track. :)
