Are these safe?

    Back in the olden days, err, um, well ok in the 60's and 70's we used cast aluminum adapters on 5 lug VW's to run Chevy wheels cause the VW pattern was so large. We also ran billet adapters on the 4 lug Vdubs to run Porshe wheels.

    1. We had no choice at the time
    2. Yes they did break if you drove hard
    3. Spacers are ok if you are using longer studs in the original holes, but I'm not sure about their set up. It looks like the ones we used way back when. I'd pass.
