Anyone seen this Steering wheel on a Maverick?

Here is what is in mine.

This looks like a stallion head, Needs to be repaired, rubber is coming off
and the center is cracked.

My dad's Comet had that wheel. I think he said it came out of a Mustang II Cobra? I can't remember... I'll have to ask him again.

I would love to find one. My friend has an old rusted out Mustang II sitting at his dad's shop, might have to check it out.

As for the other steering wheel, my grandpa has a severly rusted out 69' Boss 302 that has that wheel in it. The car is toast, the wheel is near perfect. Might see if he'll let me have it.

 

Let me know if he wants to get rid of the rusted out Boss 302...I might be a player.

 

Ray, I am positive he will sell it, but knowing my grandpa the price will be very questionable. I will be up there this weekend, so I will ask him about it and try to get some detailed pictures of where the rust is at. The hood and front fenders are rust free. The scoop on the hood says 351 on it? The way I understand it this car is pretty rare.

This is the only picture I have of the car. The drivetrain is long gone, but the whole interior is full of boxes of parts, who knows what could be in there.

Just wondering what size is the Mustang II Cobra steering wheel? I know the stock Maverick wheel is 15 inches.
