Dan my car came from Roger Akins Ford in Gainsville, I know that is up your way if you or anyone come across anything of theirs, Trunk Plate, Tag, sales brochures or anything let me know.
I'll keep my eyes open. I trashed that frame when my polishing wheel grabbed it and threw it across the garage. Still working on repairing it but I get depressed every time I look at it since it was mint when I got it ...
Im a little bit late on the companies that do chrome but as for the aerospace aspect of it we still have allot of chrome plated parts. We use two companies one it here in salt lake (a 30 min drive away depending on traffic) http://www.bmproc.com/ they do ok and I know they have done bumpers and stuff for people and gotten OK results. But if we really want good results we send our stuff to these guys in California http://www.embee.com/Processes/process.aspx?id=3 I have seen allot of their work and it is high quality, plus they like doing stuff like chroming bumpers and such, everything I have seen is 100% better than the factory and they might give it too you for a good deal right now with the aerospace industry slowing down.
My car had the original dealer sticker on the trunk from Jordan Ford San Antonio. Sent them an email and they shipped me a couple of frames. Not original but very nice of them. I plan on having the sticker reproduced since I have pics. They sent them to me on the condition I send a pic when its done.
I got motived to fix up the broken frame. In the picture I had to graft part of a different frame onto my broken Russ Davis Frame. I bought it on eBay and wasn't a perfect match but close enough ... At least I have a closer version of the original blue for the background now ....
