Thanks everybody. I think it will make a fine driver when it's all fixed back up. I don't know what it is with me and red cars. Every car I ever owned except one has been red. Must be my chossen color. The trim moldings around the windshield are in the car. We needed to check it for windshield leaks, which I'm pretty sure it has. Since Dale wants to replace the vinyl top and the windshield gasket anyway, we are going to leave them off for now. Speaking of which, where is a good place to get the material to replace the top? I know AutoKrafters sells it, but are there any other places that carry it also? As for the side moldings, they will stay on as well. We both like the way it looks with the white top and side moldings. I would like to find a nice set of wheels for it someday. I was thinking along the line of the Styled Steel wheels like my other 77' has. For now though, I have a set of hub caps I can slap on. Right now, we are more interested in getting it mechanicaly sound again.

Nice car looks like its got lots of potential. As for wheels I know where a set of factory slots are that are gonna be forsale. When I did the top on my 4dr a guy up in East stroudsburg could get the original vinyl top. His # is 570-421 1014 or 570-223 1220 , central auto tops. Hope this helped

Thanks Chris. We'll have to give the guy a call. We might be interested in the wheels too. Right now we really need to find a gas tank We dropped the tank out of the car today and it looks like swiss cheese. It literally came apart at the seams. I've seen some bad gas tanks before, but nothing quite this bad.
