Steve that is very cool!! I wish I would've been on here sooner, the first thing I noticed was the paint on your suspension pieces. I know that is expensive stuff. MAN I'm so looking forward to July!!

Are the '74 spindles that used Mustang II type disc brakes the same as later spindles that used Granada disc brake parts? My interchange manual stops at '74.

I want to see the paint in a wheelstanding flash photo while leaving the line at Farmington this year. Hope to catch you there sometime. Every little bit of weight off the front helps a lot when you are looking for traction like you are.

i got it to fit.. i just grinded a U slot in the spindel nut and cut up the tin cover (or what ever the thingy is called) to make the pin go though. its a tight fit but i got it to work.

i was also going to ask you if kit required you to wire lock all the bolts on the caliper also on the rotor as well (if your rotor is two piece). most have told me there is no need to wire lock the bolts only if your road racing. however the kit does say to do it but also doesn't say what kind of wire to use. (check out the pdf link) on page 5

i put some stainess still brake lines on too. i'll post that on my old post about the brakes. and up date on some of the part numbers

also another question.. should the disk brakes (non pwr) have the same peddle pressure as the drums (non pwr).. just wondering since this is like the first conversion i've done.

My kit did not require the use of the safety wire, it used locking washers and specified that red loctite be used and the bolts torqued properly. I used the stainless steel lines exactly like you did it. I'm not sure about the peddle pressure, I replaced the master cylinder and the peddle pressure is outstanding. I used the 1 1/8" bore master cylinder from Aerospace and it feels spectacular!!
