Will I be able to use my stock C4 from my 1975 250. I will be installing a 1975 351w in the next week or so.

it'll bolt up just fine but thats not to say it'll be able to handle the abuse and power.

have your trans rebuilt and the intrnals upgraded, atleast a shift kit. or get a trans thats already ready to go

im running my stock 250 trans with my new 302 so im not going to go too hard on you but i dont have high expectations for a 33 year old trans that was built to handle a 80hp 6cyl. im sure by the end of the summer i'll be swapping the trans out too

Before you have it rebuilt look at the front servo cover.
If it has a big "A" cast in then it is the same transmission inside as the 302 and 351 uses in cars. The "R" and "H" covers are used on trucks and vans and are not needed unless you are pulling extra weight.
For performance use (even mild street hotrodding) I recommend a 40-2 TransGo kit and an auxillary cooler in series with your radiator cooler. That will double the life of your transmission and make it really enjoyable. Most C4s from 250s are the same as the V8 transmissions - that is why I say check that servo cover!
