302 Spark Plug Change!

    Be carefull what you use the gear wrenches on. Mine do not reverse. I was unbolting a 5hp Briggs engine with the gear wrench. Did'nt have enough room to get the nut all the way off, could'nt get the wrench off the top of the nut, could'nt reverse the wrench. lol
    See what I mean? Had to get the sawzall out to cut the stud to get my dang wrench off. I think the new Craftsman wrenches are reversable.

    gear wrenches have been out for a few years but the flex head reverseable are fairly new (within the last 3-4 years) lowes and homedepot sell them and most tool wholesalers have them as well sears.

    Ratchet

    I use a flex head ratchet, always. Also known as a spark plug ratchet. Just too convenient in all situations, gave up on the straight ones, they just sit in the tool bag. 'Course the wrench saves even more room. Can't get a wrench on the Cleveland plugs though, too deep.
