The Comp 260 cam is in the 200 6 cyl. that I'm pulling out of the car.

    Ok, finally decided....again

with the combo listed above I am going with the Comp cams 270H, Question....... on an engine fresh from the rebuilders can I just pull the stock cam and install the new 270H or do I have to replace the lifters also, will I need to upgrade the springs also or are the stock ones OK? I am aso going with the double roller timing chain from Clevite. Should I install the cam straight up or advanced? what will this do for me?

The 270-H is what I'm running...provides a nice lope at idle in gear...not bone jarring but not real mild either..duration .050 I/E 224/224.. GVL 500/500 I'm well pleased with it's charateristics.
972 springs are required, advance timing degree is noted on the spec card and it also has a 351W firing order.
