289 heads on 302

    could i put 1967 289 heads a 1979 302? and if so what would be the problems i would face, if any?

    they should bolt on with no problems

    '74 Maverick 302 5-Speed.'60 Falcon V8. '63.5 Falcon HT
    Only problem would be higher compression...if you wanna call that a problem. The 79 heads have 69cc and the 67 heads are 63cc. Be sure to use 67 rockers, fulcrums and push rods.
