I went to the planning meeting for the Ford Show at Knott's Berry Farm scheduled for April 17, 2005. NO MAVERICK or COMET CLASS!:( They said they go into "Other Ford" or "Mercury".

I sure hope Maverick and Comet guys/gals enter this show and turn out in numbers that makes them open up a class for our cars. Last year they cut off entries at I think 1800 cars. It is a great event and Ford is a sponsor.

Since I'm a member of the committee (there are about 50 other people) I was asked to get some volunteers for the show. If any of the MCCI members are going to the show, let me know. If you can volunteer a couple of hours in the morning then I can get you on the list and you can get in earlier then the regular entries.

I'll find out in February if I can make it or not. Need to put in for my vacation for the year in January. Will ask for that week off. My brother lives in Lakewood, Ca. about 15 minutes from Knotts Berry Farm. So, I'll have a place to stay for free.....I'll let you know as soon as I find out. Would like to see a good MCCI turnout for the event.

Hope you can make it. It would be nice to have a good Maverick/Comet turn out. Heck even Ford Probes have their own class!
