The 200 in there right now is in decent running condition but at some point will have to be rebuilt. This car sat for over 10 years in a back yard buried in dirt up to the lower A-frames. Suprisingly, it started right up after rebuilding the fuel system and the beast shifted into all 3 gears like it was recently serviced which it was not.

Since I have a 250 on the floor along with the tranny and new convertor that came with the deal, I was considering doing the swap. I was trying to start gathering needed parts for the future swap. I am not making this particular car a performance rod. Rather, I will just do some mods to increase efficiency.

As far as the header issue is concerned, Mike W. is still dealing with that area. We used my 250 on the floor to do some preliminary measuring and routing paths. The collector(s) will have to go past the bell and attach on the back side. Because of the limited space between the frame rail and bell, this is the only option I can see right now. This would have to be a single out and then split later if you wanted duals.

Other than a few pin holes in the rear floor due to a broken window and many monsoons, the car is rust free. I only paid $100 for the beast and it was well worth it. It is a 72 Grabber.
