I dont have anything against you at all...but that car is far too gone to restore...you'll have to replace every single thing to just have a decent car, look at it and tell me one thing thats good on it aside from the frame, possibly the trunk and windows.

Come on, kids, try to get along!!!

Good luck with your project. I have fixed worse. All it takes is lots of time and a whole lot of money. Expect to lose money on any Maverick or Comet if you put a lot of money in it no matter how nice it may become. But, if it is what you want, then go for it.

Every Stallion deserved to be saved! :)

If you want to add it to the registry, you know what to do ;)

Did someone pull the plug on Daydreamer and Dave Boyer's posts?

Its restorable, If I had it Id be switching parts over right now.

Owning a Stallion clone and a REAL stallion is two completely different things, Id def. put in all the extra work so I could say I own the real thing.

Look at the thread for before and after pics. Your car doesn't look any worse off than some of those. Good luck with the build.

Ditto. This forum should be about helping, not tearing someone down. Maybe Dave has had too much Christmas cheer in the liquid version.

My '69 XR7 convertible looked very much like this car when I strted on it. I don't have a scanner to show before pictures, but if you come to the Silver Springs show in Jan, you can see the after and I will have pictures of the before with me. Good things are possible with patience, many hours work, and lots of green.
