Wanted to tighten up the shifts so I installed a short throw shifter and bronze bushing IMG_20220402_113713_999~2.jpg IMG_20220402_120135_995.jpg

My son put a TKX in his 72, used his C4 drive shaft after changing the front yoke to a 31 spline.

Not sure of the brand but it's a fox body shaft, T5 is out of a v6 sn95 so it's a bit longer than a fox trans, I believe I used a spicer 5-1204x joint at the diff.

I found a great deal on a 3.55 LSD unit. While I was there, the lug nuts sat flush so I added some extended lugs and was able to fit a .25 spacer for better fitment.

I came across deals on a summit carb and a brand-new performer intake I could not pass up. While I was there, I swapped the water pump to an aluminum unit. I found a flare to 6AN adapter for the fuel pump and a hardline adapter to the carb barb so I can run a 6AN hose and filter. I finally attempted to change the valve stem seals. Not a single complete seal explains the rate of oil consumption. IMG_20250105_134020124_HDR.jpg IMG_20241129_142151367.jpg IMG_20241130_161028631.jpg

I think the original door handles are a bit too forward for the size and weight of the door. Some spare nato straps fill that need perfectly. I also wanted to simplify the gauge cluster. I added a gps speedometer/odometer so I can remove the speedo cable. The only other functional gauge up top was fuel so I found a nice looking 10-73 ohm unit. I mounted everything up on a 16 gauge sheet and am wiring as much as I can to the cluster wires. Now the most critical data is a quick glance down from the windshield.
