Compression fitting [ATTACH]
If you use the correct size steel tubing and maybe re-flare and change the fittings to fit the connectors. Don't use compression fittings.

I made a typo on the part number and I can't blame a fat fingering the keyboard. Correct number is D1DB...not D1DZ.

If it was a stock Maverick...then yes and no. The fan will be turning only if the engine was running. If you turn the key off the fan will stop...

See how the top mount is designed...air shocks will push the mount through the sheet metal. Your truck could be mounted to the frame crossmember....
