I bought a set of 289 heads on this forum and I just noticed one is a 65 and one is a 66... They look the same, if I throw these on my old 302...

I wonder if the pinion angle is way off ? I think the t-5 should be closer to the top of the trans tunnel... And that cross member looks a little...
I'm using a 30" braided stainless hose from master to salve... Is there any reason to use a hard line ?
I'm not a pro at building cars, but the first thing I would look at is the pinion angle of the engine and trans... Looks to me to be too low at...
