Time for a new dual exhaust system. That's the only way to fix it properly.
Rims won't do you much good without the rest of the wheels.
Satin will absorb gasoline more easily than a gloss clear-coat would.
Pics or it never happened.
'Looks great. I also like how you're not doing what everyone else does.
Definite improvement. I would have gone with a semi-flat black.
I don't think Wheel Vintiques make those anymore. Just the 14s & 15s.
What brand wheels are those, and what will you be running for centercaps?
While not everything the factory does is a bad thing, not everything they do is good either. Who wants to spend the time to put RTV gasket sealer...
Totally unnecessary if you use a sealer.
You'll also need some gear oil. Don't forget to change the speedo driven gear. Otherwise, your speedo will be way off.
NASCARs and street-driven cars are worlds apart.
No "pressure" is ever needed in the exhaust system. What is needed is velocity (speed), and a pipe that is too large slows the gases down.
No special tools are required to remove the seats. Just use a 7/16" deep-well socket and a ratchet. The seat track studs go through the floor pan....
Unless you're a grandpa, there should never be mudflaps on your car. Trucks are a different story.
Yeah....you just MIGHT...be a redneck.
Just say no.
Yeah, most of those magazine articles are sponsored by Advertising money. And yeah, I've always found it hilarious when a muffler company claims...
"...had one just like it, but it was a 4-door, and had a 6-cylinder, and was a different color."
You should set your sites even higher than that. That car has a lot of potential.
